Operations & Answers
Essential facts, system behaviors, withdrawal boundaries, and strategic platform mechanics explained cleanly.
Are payments secure?
Yes. All platform payments, subscription setup checkpoints, and checkout parameters are handled securely via Stripe.
Do I have to pay upfront when applying?
No. Applying to be a managed artist or producer is entirely free. You will only pay when we reach back out to you via email with your approved setup details.
Your dashboard is initially configured on our Base plan. Once you click upgrade and process payment within your portal, our staff will fully build out your personal system resources and email you once it's complete.

Is it hard to get accepted into Novum?
No. For both producers and artists, the submission process is simply used to ensure we can build direct, healthy relationships with our roster, filter out automated spam, and verify your music sounds decent or displays clean creative direction. Every application is manually reviewed and decided on by our Founder (J.B) and Head of Operations (M3iski).
What is the 2k streams rule?
Our digital distribution mechanism mandates that each individual track must cross a minimum baseline of 2,000 streams on DSPs before unlocking its accumulated royalty balance. Once that specific track clears the 2k milestone, all gathered earnings generated by that specific track become fully withdrawable inside your wallet.
What is the strategic role of Head of Operations M3iski?
M3iski is an elite active producer himself and manages our daily operations. He evaluates production submissions, runs catalog technical checks, and directs backend integrations. Every producer portfolio undergoes standard review by M3iski before storefront access coordinates are cleared.
Are producers limited to selling beats only to Novum artists?
No. Onboarded producers preserve absolute master, composition, and licensing rights over their creative products. The Black Market operates as an additional sales channel for target platform vocalists, but you are completely free to market and sell your licenses on any other site or store.
