Are applications completely free of charge?
Yes. Applying to join Novum is 100% free for both vocalists and producers. We do not collect credit cards or upfront fees. Your setup payment is only completed once your application is formally approved by J.B and Head of Operations M3iski.
Can I sell my beats elsewhere while on the Producer platform?
Absolutely. All producers keep 100% ownership and composition rights of their masters. While our open beat marketplace connects you directly to eager platform vocalists, you are completely free to list and license your work on other external stores.
How does the customer fee model operate across plans?
Our 5% transaction fee structure is actually lower than practically all other beat marketplaces, especially since we charge 0% extra customer fees on our Base plan.
To clarify: Producers do not pay this 5% fee—the buyers of the beats pay it at checkout. On our Base Plan, the fee is fully absorbed out of Novum's 20% platform cut, so the producer still keeps exactly 80% of beat sales with no extra fees or deductions. When a producer upgrades to Pro or Partner plans and keeps 100% of their sales, Novum receives no commission cut. In those cases, the 5% checkout fee is passed down directly to the buyer, which is standard and highly valued, since our Pro and Partner creators represent the absolute best of the best.
